Shiny leaves

Ivy.

Murgröna.





I have another ivy, not bonsai yet, with beautiful shiny leaves. The shape of the leaves remind me a little of holly. I have a weakness for shiny leaves, cannot help that!

Jag har även en murgröna som inte är bonsai - ännu. Men den har vackra blanka blad spetsiga i hörnen påminner lite om järnek.
Jag är svag för blanka blad!



I have a holly too. Keep it in the garage in the winter and now outside, but i try to remember to take it inside in the night. This one will never be a bonsai - too uncomfortable to touch!!!

Jag har en järnek också. Den kommer jag nog aldrig att försöka göra bonsai av - för oskön att ta i!!!

Kamellia: shiny leaves! This one had a flower in september.

Kamellia: blanka blad! Denna hade en blomma i höstas.



Now just to improve the diversity of species, I am going to try sowing rhus - here are the seeds and the picture tells me exactly how they will look in a near future!!!

Fått brev med frön till sumak (Rhus) som jag nu har sått. Jag behöver ju verkligen utöka antalet olika arter att ta hand om. Se vilken vacker bonsai det kommer att bli!
